      • WHAT MAY BE

        BRINGING YOU HERE

People come to ANKELAB for different reasons. Sometimes something is getting in the way; sometimes there is simply a gap between where you are and where you want to be.

        You may be:

        • Wanting habits, routines, or systems that make everyday life work better—and that actually fit the way you live and work.
        • Going through a transition—career change, move, new family role, return to work, or another shift—and realizing that your old routines no longer fit.
        • Wanting to better understand your own patterns, values, strengths, and needs.
        • Feeling overwhelmed by competing priorities and responsibilities.
        • Finding it harder than expected to get started, stay focused, or follow through consistently.
        • Spending more energy than you would like on planning, organizing, prioritizing, or managing your time.
        • Noticing that stress or strong emotions sometimes make it difficult to make decisions or respond the way you would like.

      • THE ANKELAB ADAA FRAMEWORK

        Awareness · Design · Activation · Adaptation

ANKELAB’s ADAA Framework is a research-informed approach for understanding and supporting meaningful change.

It draws on established principles from cognitive-behavioral approaches, behavior-change science, and executive function coaching to organize four dimensions that can shape how change unfolds in real life.

        1

        Awareness

        • Awareness brings attention to what is happening - what matters, what you are experiencing, and what patterns, strengths, barriers, needs, or circumstances may be relevant.
        2

        Design

        • Design focuses on fit - considering possibilities, strategies, structures, and supports in relation to the individual, the goal, and the situation rather than relying on generic best practices.
        3

        Activation

        • Activation focuses on translation - bringing insightand intention into something concrete enough to try, practice, explore, or act on in everyday life.
        4

        Adaptation

        • Adaptation treats experience as information - notice what works, what does not, and what changes over time, then reconsider or refine approaches accordingly.
      • WHAT SETS ANKELAB APART

        Section image

        Bilingual and Culturally Responsive

Coaching and tools are available in Mandarin and English, with attention to how cultural background, family expectations, cross-cultural experiences, and the environments in which you live and work may shape both the challenges you face and the options that make sense.

        Section image

        Neurodiversity-Informed

Our strengths-based, neurodiversity-informed approach recognizes that people differ in how they manage attention, motivation, organization, emotions, and everyday demands. With particular attention to ADHD-related executive functioning challenges, we recognize that there is no single “right” way to function. Instead, coaching makes room for individual differences and explores approaches that better fit how each person thinks, works, and lives.

      • WAYS TO START

        Section image

        Personalized Coaching

        • Work one-on-one with a coach to better understand what is happening, clarify what matters, and develop practical ways to move forward.
        • Coaching can focus on a specific question or decision, an executive function challenge, a personal or professional goal, a period of transition, or longer-term personal development.
        • Depending on what you need, you might use coaching for one focused session, work toward a defined goal over several weeks or months, or return periodically as new questions, goals, and stages of life emerge.
